Amazing Music Artists (Part 1)

Posted by SilverFoxJams - September 23rd, 2014

I'm copying off of Chemiqals here. I think it's a cool idea to do for a news post anyway, so why not? Only I'm going to list not only those I'm amazed of on NG, but on SoundCloud too! I've been listening to other people quite a lot around both sites for some weeks, and it's time I share and post my major props out towards those I love listening to.

In fact, since I already mentioned Chemiqals. If you haven't checked this person out yet, do so! Not only cool for coming up with a recommended list of their own, but the tracks on there are really great. (Chemiqals also has a page on SoundCloud and I clicked that follow button quite fast. https://soundcloud.com/chemiqals)

https://soundcloud.com/green-raver-x-basssmith <-The Official Green Raver. Oh my gosh, his mixes are off the hook, both remixes and his original stuff!

https://soundcloud.com/timmylewis Timmy Lewis is one gifted kid! His dubsteps and other electronic instrumentals are very good listens.

https://soundcloud.com/nelsonleeroy Nelson Leeroy has done some excellent House and Disco tracks. Funky good stuff!

http://step.newgrounds.com/ Step! His compositions, his latest ones I've heard, are beautiful. I liked his All Hail Windows too. Even if he calls them horrible, I still like some of his older stuff! His third All Hail Windows has inspired me for one or two project ideas, using Windows sounds. :D He also has his own SoundCloud page.

http://police120.newgrounds.com/ Police120's mellow tracks are great. P120 should make more tunes! I love, love, love "YouandMe-Forever". It is lovely, and it has been stuck in my head before. All the vox and the really laid back groove... It's so catchy!

https://soundcloud.com/monstercat Monstercat flat out blows my mind every time I listen to them. These people are so unbelievably great at what they do!

http://cmperry1984.newgrounds.com/ CMPerry's 8-bits are great! My favorite of them is the FF9 Boss Battle. (He also does some other, more pretty video game compositons too.)

http://lunyalex.newgrounds.com/ Alex does some great stuff. It's no surprise that he's been asked to background music for video games!

https://soundcloud.com/sytrax Sytrax's dubsteps are love. Most especially his track known as "Majestic". It's EPIC!

https://soundcloud.com/seeekkk Do you like cats? Do you like dubstep and trap as well? Seekkk mixes cat and kttten sounds into his tracks.  Some of them are rather adorable! I feel inspired by this artist, to maybe try cat sounds into a future project one day.  Some of his other cool stuff I really like are track titles "Try This" and "Chickens".

https://soundcloud.com/sonic-ether This guy's singing voice is amazing! I was particularly blown away by his cover of "Wicked Game". He made the song his own so well that he made me nearly speechless! Some of his own original short mixes are really good too.

https://soundcloud.com/iaintdeadyet On Acidplanet.com, a music place I still go to, he was known as Silexz Studios. Now he just goes by Silexz. His trance and cinematic music are really good. I'm happy I found an old AP favorite on SoundCloud! I hope to find some of the others later!

That's all I'll list for this time. That should be PLENTY of music for you to check out until I post a second part to this. :D
