What a groove! Interesting choice of drums and instruments here, as well as the voice loops. Oooh, like what you did there at 2:32! Yeah, this is slick. Great track. Can't think of anything else to say, other than I like it.

Chemiqals responds:

Thanks! Glad you thought so! =)

Freakin' awesome video game music material! All the hard work pays off in the end.

Intense and epic!! Rockin' bass and the trilling synths go great with it. I liked it loud on my earphones. :D

LunyAlex responds:

Mmmmmmm, loud in the earphones!

Cinematic indeed! Instruments are used well, and the track as a whole is overall epic. Though I'd have to agree with some of the other reviewers that there's a certain lack of UMPH to make it seem like you're there hearing the orchestration live.

Y'know I actually could imagine a LotR and Narnia kind of thing while listening. Some of what I put together tells a story to me either during the creation process or afterwards, so I can relate there!

LunyAlex responds:

Appreciate it! I do need to play a lot with the stereo field , reverbs, etc. Thanks for the input! Dully noted!

Feelin' it! The guitar playing was excellent. (Liked how this started.) Drums had power to them too. Listening to this reminds me of the group Demon Hunter. Your style is similar to those guys I think.

You scream rather well I think, lol. You underestimate yourself.

Insomnimatic responds:

Thank you very much! I probably do underestimate myself because I don't think of myself as a vocalist. I think after doing more songs and vocals I will see it get better :D I'm glad you like it I just think my voice isn't right there yet for screaming.

Not bad! You play guitar well (some sweet sounding licks and nice sorta bluesy/funk feel), but I think you need a better microphone so the recording doesn't pick up that loud clicking noise in the background.

Ceevro responds:

Uh...I think that the 'click' you're referring to is called a 'string-damp,' and it's a percussive technique that I do while playing. The mic I'm using is damn good, though I did over-saturate this recording. My quality is going up, constantly. Really, the hardest thing to get out of the recording is the computer fan, and I'm getting better at taking most of it out...this recording was just to see if I had solved my low-volume issues with my limiter when transferring to .mp3. Future recordings will be better.

Some silly stuff going on there. I'm glad it's not a bashing song. It's actually informative, lol. The production is nice, and you have a great singing voice. (Thus I am curious to checking out what other songs you've done.) The accompaniment and style suited the song well.

Oooh... The transitions from guitar to ambience and back to guitar again were smooth. A calming, peaceful feel to this I'm assuming. Glad to know your music is being used in film scores, since I've heard some very cinematic instrumentals of yours.

Pretty, happy-go-lucky little tune. Nice one. While listening to this, I thought of those old silent films with Charlie Chaplin.

Whoa, this is amazing! I have my head phones on (electronica always sounds best through headphones IMO), and the bounce to the beat and electronic feel from the beginning grabbed my attention and didn't let go throughout until the very end.

LunyAlex responds:

Hey Thank you! Really appreciate that! Glad to hear the groove's doing its job :3
