I like that sweet, funky-like bass to this, along with the loud beats. The high pitched sweep FX is also great. The variations and build-ups kept up my interest, and I ended up clicking the favorite button. In my own preference I would have ended it a little better. It honestly was a bit abrupt and slightly lacking something. I don't know what it is exactly, but I think it's of a somewhat heavy sound, or a little ditty of the bass to land a better finisher.

All that aside, this is overall is very nice track!

AliceMako responds:

Thanks for listening and feel free to add your own ending.

Hello there. I like Nirvana too! Wow. In parts of this, you actually sound a LOT like Kurt Cobain.

Great playing and vocals.

There ought to be some drums to this! It'll give a bit more towards the song, along with some noise removal and cutting the clipping sound of the end of your recording. That's all I can think of to suggest. Otherwise, great cover!

Stereocrisis responds:

Hi SilverFoxJams. Thanks.

Drums to this would sound great.

Maybe someone here can fix it up, give it some production value? I'd be curious to hear a remix. I have drums, but I can barely get good guitar and vocal quality with what I use to record. This is a live track in one take in front of a video camera. I didn't even use a microphone to do this cover. I sang into the camera.

Does anyone here want to add drums or bass? Post a link if you do.

Jammin' good! Good cool creepy loop, with a hip hop sort of bounce. I liked this. The synth harmonies are top notch an in sync with this slick beat. Very nice. It's a bit too cool for a retro game sound. It actually sounds classic AND modern at the same time! Which is impressive. Well done!

I couldn't find anything that sounded wrong or out of place, though I suggest you make a longer version. Add more stuff in. Experiment and try different things! Make it more memorable and hip. Maybe a section of some heavier beats might work, to add more flavor.

LexRodent responds:

Thanks for your reviews, I'm glad you enjoyed my pieces.
It's a good advice to add perc variations on both tracks, and some more variations.
I'll try to apply this and see how it works.

Cool from beginning to end, Alex. This could actually be something to apply to other games too. That guitar-like synth melody along to that hard banging beat is awesome. However, a bit more variation of instruments to this would make this even better! Also I found it a bit short, but maybe that's just my own preference.

I also suggest applying a bit of dynamics. It'll perk up the listening interest a notch.

LunyAlex responds:

Good points. Variation and dynamics are definitely things I need to work on. Length. Length too. Though often I stop working on a song when I feel like I'm just bullshitting new ideas in that don't fit naturally enough, hah.

Thanks a lot for the review, advice and nice words! o/

A while ago I've been listening to some of your older things such as this out of curiosity. I must say this sounds quite epic. Some of this sounds like Asian influence, and I like what I've heard here. Now I finally get some time to write out my feedback on this.

I felt inspired after first listening, for a future project to do. It'd be something neat to try out, oing something with Windows sounds. XD Maybe I could combine XP and Windows 2000 (which is this old computer where I work).

Step responds:

Oh man don't do this to me haha. My old songs are so bad!

This is part of a series of tracks I made which featured only Windows sounds and drums. Over the course of my lifetime I made something like six of these, but in my opinion they're really not very good haha.

Thanks for reviewing!

In this being the second track I've heard from you, you just about blew me away here! I love this even more than "Future". Dark, cinematic elements with the violins. Again with those mad scratches, and cool scratchy creepy robo voice! The ending could've been a bit better, but that's just my own preference.

This here reminds me of my roleplay writing with friends online. Some of the bad guys are these very vicious armored cyborg drones. I pictured them while hearing this. :D

Pandasticality responds:

i wasnt satisfied with the ending either, it needed some spice :x i lost inspiration with this piece, thats why i decided to post it now.

Epic! Wow, the bass sounds like someone scratching a record on the tables. Those big loud sweeping chords sound really cool, and that snare.... So energetic and wicked, this. :D One awesome dubstep. This is too short though, and it ended abruptly. I suggest you add more, or do a remix.

Pandasticality responds:

yeah, i probaply should, i learn as i go : ) i might work on this later, maby.

Diggin' this very much, Alex! This is awesome. Excellent creation. I didn't notice anything wrong, for this was well mixed.

There's great gritty textured bass and hard hitting rhythm. Great synths sounds, too! Great everything, really! :D This is some sweet game soundtrack material. I could game on to something like this for hours.

LunyAlex responds:

Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it and particularly glad you find it fitting for a game context!
And sorry for the late response.

Wow, rock on! Excellent jam. Well played instruments! Although I'd suggest that maybe you could tone the volume down just a hair--for the drums deserve to be heard a bit better!

What language are you singing in? I almost thought you were singing Japanese and then thought "All right, I love J-Rock!" But only for a second. Then I thought, "Wait a minute--no, it isn't Japanese... The dialect sounds a bit different." I'm just curious on that. It'd be nice to hear the word English, but then that's okay! I like it a lot just the way this is! The recording quality sounds pretty good too. Singing was in good key, and not off pitch.

More voices? Hmmm... Maybe you could try some harmony in the verses. That's all I can think of. Give it a try. I didn't find much problems while giving this song a listen, only that very minor one about the guitar almost drowning out the drums. :)

dursty responds:

It`s Spanish...
=)

Whoa, this is cool. Like that guitar playing and whole lot, and the organ in there is classy! This rocks. Very, very good track. I couldn't find a thing wrong with this. I just enjoyed listening to this. :D

Azhthar responds:

Thx a lot! Glad you like it ;)
